Two young musicians, scholarship recipients of the American Foundation for Bulgaria, will be among the soloists in tonight’s concert “Laureates, Opus 4,” held within the XL International Youth Music Forum at Vratsa Symphony.
Performing on stage this evening are Olga Doykova (violin), an AFB scholarship recipient in the field of arts, and Mario Bobotsov (piano), holder of the “Pavlina Dokovska” scholarship.
The two young performers are among the laureates who will appear alongside Vratsa Symphony under the baton of conductor Nikolay Petrov. The program includes works by P. I. Tchaikovsky, M. Ravel, and C. Franck, showcasing both virtuosity and depth of interpretation.
