The 6th edition of the Classical Chamber Music Festival Off the Beaten Path will be held from August 1 to 4, 2024 with concerts in Kovachevitsa and Gotse Delchev. The program includes three world premieres of works written especially for the musicians of the festival by the composers Laura Al Ahmad, Petar Kerkelov and Svetlin Hristov and selected masterpieces from the classical chamber repertoire.

Special guests are the world-famous Alexander Fitterstein, clarinet and Yosuke Kawasaki, violin, who will visit Bulgaria for the first time. The Bulgarian musicians Anna Petrova, piano and Teodora Atanasova, cello will join the team.

Already in its sixth year, the Festival is building a strong and committed community of like-minded people who not only appreciate music, but support various related causes, such as repair and maintenance of the community center in Kovachevitsa, planting new trees and cleaning the village on the last day of the Festival. New accompanying initiatives this summer will be a farmer's market and presentation of the unique flavors of Western Rhodope cuisine. The American Foundation for Bulgaria is a gold sponsor of the event.
