The Autumn mathematical tournament for high schoool students is part of the calendar for extracurricular activities of the Bulgarian Ministry of education and science and Union of Bulgarian Mathematicians. It is organized with the assistance of the American Foundation for Bulgaria and the Georgi Chilikov Foundation. Results from the Tournament are valid for determining the expanded national teams for the Balkan Mathematics Olympiad and the European Girls’ Mathematics Olympiad and are part of the calculation of the students’ rating.
American Foundation for Bulgaria has been supporting the Tournament since 2007. The Foundation provides funds for a prize in the individual ranking, cups for team ranking and a special prize.
